Boudoir: Corset & Lace ft. Ophelia vol. 8

Exploring the corset as art.
This is a theme I have been developing for several years. Every model portrays a different personality while wearing a corset. I love capturing those personality changes brought on by a specific wardrobe change. This piece is from her personal collection and is paired with her netted garter stockings. This set continues the strip tease for your viewing pleasure...

Boudoir: Corset & Lace ft. Ophelia vol. 2

Exploring the corset as art.
This is a continuing theme that I have been developing over several years. Every model portrays a different personality while wearing a corset. I love capturing those switches in personality brought on by a specific wardrobe change. This corset is part of my wardrobe kit, as well as the fan, and it always brings out something previously unseen in the model. This particular piece is an under-bust design and because of this it is much more revealing. We elected not to include a bra in this series, instead playing into the sensual design and offering a bit more skin for the camera. The fan offers a bit of a tease as its being used as a cover-up but it doesn't last long...

Black Lace with Dame d'Voltaire

Boudoir in the studio with Dame d'Voltaire. The lace lingerie is part of my wardrobe kit and fit her perfectly. We worked in the studio together for hours playing with different props, wardrobe, and lighting and created a wide array of looks for us both to develop our portfolios. I love working with new people and collaborating to create images I wouldn't be able to create with anyone else.

Boudoir: Corset and Lace ft. Kat

The corset is such a sexy wardrobe piece. It covers more than most lingerie, while it seems to show something forbidden. The laces down the back have a beautiful symmetry and in the right lighting becomes a piece of art in itself.

Day of the Dead - Life & Death

Welcome to the next installment of my mask series. In this instance, I layered a second mask designed to look like an aged skull and affixed it with strong magnets to eliminate additional straps or attachments. I wanted to have a juxtaposition of beauty & horror with a life & death mask. I painted the skull piece to completion before beginning the beauty design in blue. By doing this, I was able to align the nose and teeth more accurately between the two layers. Having two complete and separate masks, I can easily use them together or separately and still maintain a complete look. The beauty mask stands on its own and doesn't need to make use of the skull appliance. My technique for applying the magnets to the skull piece also allows it to be used independently if my model chose to adhere magnets to her skin using a makeup glue. This has not yet been a chosen method but perhaps in the future, I will find a model willing to experiment with that look.

No Evil

Hear No Evil, See No Evil, Speak No Evil

I love this series. There are so many ways to interpret each pose. The images I composited all seemed a good match with each other, but I will also include some outtakes below. A huge thank you goes out to Kat for bringing her own spin on this set.

Melissa Striptease - TBT

Melissa was so much fun to work with from her eclectic wardrobe to her striptease. Emphasis on tease, as there is no nudity in her session. These images were lost for a few years and now that I have rediscovered them, I am sharing them again.

Hollywood Glamour featuring Cherry Brandi - TBT

Cherry Brandi came to me with an idea for a photo shoot emulating classic Hollywood glamour. She had a few samples of the type of photos that she wanted, and after studying them for a short time, I was able to engineer a lighting setup to match the style she wanted. They looked good in color, but converting them to black & white changed them into the vintage shots she was after.

I have worked with Brandi twice before, and each time we have come out of our sessions with so many great photos, its hard to pick favorites. This session lasted only half as long as our previous meetings, but produced just as many fantastic shots. I have selected several favorites to share here, but there are even more that will have to wait for another time...

Cherry Brandi - Glamorous on Location - TBT

I had the great fortune to work with Cherry Brandi for a second time. We wanted to create a different feel and a new look for her with this photo session. After deciding to shoot outdoors, I scouted several locations and decided on three where we could shoot. The first is literally in my backyard. Or rather the backyard space at my studio.

Introducing Cherry Brandy - A Burlesque Beauty - TBT

I recently had the good fortune to photograph a beautiful young woman who recently moved here from Chicago. She had been a burlesque dancer, and wanted to get new images for her portfolio and website. We spent two hours shooting, allowing her wardrobe changes and different lighting setups. At the conclusion of our session, we had nearly 700 images to choose from. It was quite a challenge to narrow it down from that, but I scaled it back to 250, and then again to 135. She was able to choose 24 from that set and will use those for her website.

What is Eden's Edge Studio?

Welcome to Eden's Edge, I am Adam.

Eden's Edge Studio is an ongoing photographic journey for myself as I collaborate with talented models to create striking images for each of us to add to our portfolios. We are both creative artists seeking a canvas to express our combined vision. We come together to improvise a composition of our talents. I love to document my progress as I learn new techniques and explore new ideas. It also serves as a journal through experimentation using poses, props, and lighting.

I have been a photographer for over twenty years.

I created this blog to showcase my studio photography with more adult content than the images I share on my Natural Images blog. Some people cannot appreciate the art found in nude and suggestive images and don't believe that someone who photographs nude models should photograph families and children. There is art in both forms of photography. I understand the viewpoint from both sides, and I allow for this separation in my portfolio.

So, why did I call it Eden's Edge?

It is a reference to the bible story of Adam & Eve. They were cast out of the garden, but before they left, I imagine they turned around at Eden's edge.  It lies somewhere between the purity of the garden and the tempest of hell. And there, it seems, is where I view the world. I see both the beauty in it, but also the hell surrounding me. This portfolio is Adam's creation. Here, I explore the female form as art while bordering on the edge of sin. If you do not appreciate my art, then it was not meant for you. I share it here for others to enjoy.
